Privacy policy

Chetan's Assistant Connector is a personal integration operated by Chetan Goel. Google account access is used to perform tasks requested through an authorized desktop assistant.

Information accessed

Google authorization identifies the connected account and provides tokens for the permissions you grant. Gmail features may access message subjects, senders, recipients, dates, bodies, drafts, and attachments. Sending and draft management use Gmail compose permission. Calendar features, when enabled, access calendar lists and event information such as titles, times, descriptions, locations, and attendees, and can create or delete events.

Gmail-only mode does not request Calendar permissions. Older authorizations may retain previously granted permissions until you revoke and authorize again.

Use and sharing

Information is accessed to answer your questions or perform your requested email and calendar actions. Tool results are returned to your configured assistant. That assistant may transmit them to its AI provider, including Anthropic when using Claude or OpenAI when using Codex. Review that assistant's privacy settings and retention policy before connecting an account. Messages you instruct the tool to send are delivered to the recipients you specify; calendar actions can send invitations or cancellation notifications.

The connector does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or train AI models. Google information must not be used to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Use an assistant configuration consistent with that restriction. Data is shared only as needed for the requested feature with your consent, for security, or as required by law.

Chetan's Assistant Connector's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Human access is limited to information you agree to share, necessary security investigations, or legal obligations.

Storage and retention

Account configuration and OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's computer. Credential files use owner-only file permissions. The connector does not operate a hosted mailbox database. Attachments explicitly saved by a task remain in the configured local attachments folder until deleted. Assistant conversations, exported results, diagnostic logs, and device backups can retain information according to their own settings and deletion schedules.

This public website serves only app information and policy pages. It receives no OAuth tokens, email content, or calendar records from the connector and uses no analytics scripts or tracking cookies. The hosting infrastructure processes ordinary connection information needed to serve pages.

Disconnecting and deleting data

You can revoke access through your Google Account connections. To remove local account configuration, credentials, downloaded attachments, or other saved connector data, contact chetangoel2011@gmail.com. Also delete any relevant assistant conversations or exports through the assistant's controls. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not automatically erase files, backups, or information already shared with an assistant.
